The Ladysmith and District Historical Society is a "not for profit" society created for the purpose of retaining and making available historical information, documents, photographs and artifacts. All information provided on the understanding that our information is as correct as possible. We rely on the generosity and willingness of others to share this information with us. However, we can in no way be responsible for its correctness.

We do not publish or use any information that we do not have permission to use. As such, this information is for the purpose of research, education and study and cannot be used by others for commercial purposes. Digital or film photography or reproduction of our artifacts, displays, records and photographs is allowed, however a signed waiver showing the nature of the use is required.  Commercial use or research for commercial purposes may require a fee.
